Fire Retardant Paint Test Apparatus (Large Plate Method)

1. Scope of application:

1.1 Under specified conditions, it is a test method for testing the flame resistance characteristics of decorative fire retardant paint applied to the surface of flammable substrates. It is also suitable for the determination of the fire resistance time of decorative fire retardant paint.

2. Compliant standards:

2.1 It meets the requirements of GB8624-2012 "Classification for burning properties of building materials and products".

2.2  Comply with Appendix A of GB/T 12441-2005 "Finishing Fire retardant Paint".

3.1 Test station: 1 station

3.2 Temperature uniformity: ±2.5℃

3.3 Sample size: The thickness of L900*W900 is 5mm, and the surface is flat and smooth.

3.4 Temperature control system: digital display temperature control table, which can record multiple sets of data at the same time.

3.5 Thermocouple: armored thermocouple, the outer diameter is not more than 3mm; the wire diameter is 0.5mm, the accuracy is not lower than class II, and the range is 0-1300℃. Copper surface thermocouple range: 0-400 ℃.

3.6 The timer error is not more than 1s/h.

3.7 Automatic alarm: five-way thermocouple temperature measurement on the back side of the sample, automatic alarm when the temperature reaches 220 ℃.

3.8 Gas source: liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas. (prepared by customer).

3.10 Power requirements: AC220 (±10%) V/50HZ.
