Flame Retardant Tester For Wire & Cable Insulation

1. Scope of application:

It is suitable for wire and cable insulation flame resistance test;

Vertical test: place the specimen on the top of the flame, burn for 15 seconds, extinguish for 15 seconds, repeat 5 times and check the burning condition of the specimen. The burning, extinguishing time and repetition times can be set, and automatic operation can be performed.

2. Compliant standards:

2.1 Comply with UL1581-2016 Section 1061 Vertical Burning Test of Wires and UL1581-2016 Section 1090 Horizontal Burning Test of Equipment Wires;

2.2 Comply with the test of Section 9.2 of UL2556-2015;

3. Main parameters:

3.1 Vertical combustion box: made according to UL1581 standard size, the internal size is 305*355*610mm.

3.2 Horizontal combustion box: made according to UL1581 standard size, the internal size is 305*355*610mm.

3.3 Vertical spark nozzle: The nozzle angle is 20 degrees, with gas control valve.

3.4 Horizontal spark nozzle: The nozzle angle is 90 degrees, with gas control valve.

3.5 Vertical or horizontal nozzle selection mode.

3.6 Select manual/automatic mode.

3.7 When the preset data is reached, the machine will automatically stop the test.

3.8 Fuel: Gas. Methane (provided by the customer)

3.9 Test length: 300mm (horizontal), 457mm (vertical).
