Drapery & Curtain Flame spread Tester

1. Application:

It is used to test the flame retardant properties of hanging fabrics such as curtains. It can be applied to single or multi-layer fabrics, but not for fabrics with a weight greater than 700 g/m2 (21 oz/yd2).

3.1 Burning box:

3.1.1 Specifications: W675 x D500 x H700mm

3.1.2 Structure: 12mm thick Marinite mineral plate (calcium silicate board), externally wrapped with 1.2 thick 304# stainless steel, the front is an open test box, the inner surface of the test box must be painted with a smooth black paint.

3.1.3 Compliance (NFPA) NFPA 701:2004 Chapter 5 Requirements

3.2 Burner: A hammer-shaped laboratory burner for Meker Burner with a heat of 10,500 BUT/Hour. Meets the requirements of 5.3.3 of NFPA NF: 701:2004.

3.3 Needle for sample installation: 9mm stainless steel strip, 190mm long, with a diameter of 0.7mm, 11mm long steel needle

3.4 Wire Brush: 5.9 Requirements for Bronze Manufacture (NFPA) NFPA 701:2004

3.5 Sample holder: equipped with 5 stainless steel sample holders

3.6 Equipped with stainless steel standard sample holder 5

3.7 Equipped with standard combustion line 1 volume

3.8 Control Section: Compliance with (NFPA) NFPA 701:2004 5.6 Requirements

3.8.1 Control part: adopt automatic mode: such as trigger timing, automatic opening and cutting off air source.

3.8.2 Touching method: adopting the proximity switch, that is, triggering the timing start.

3.8.3 Gas supply system: equipped with a pressure reducing valve. The solenoid valve is used to perform automatic opening and shutting off the air supply. Compliance with (NFPA) NFPA 701:2004 5.4 requirements

3.8.4 Timer: 0~99.99 seconds can be set arbitrarily, resolution: 0.01 seconds, accuracy: 0.1 seconds.

3.8.5 Flowmeter: for the rotameter, adjust it to adjust the degree of flame.
