45 Degree Flammability Tester

1. Scope of application:

It is suitable for testing the burning performance of various fabrics and their products by igniting the surface in a 45° direction, and for grading the burning performance.

2. Compliant standards:

2.1 Comply with the standard requirements of GB/T14644-2014 "Textiles —Burning behaviour — 45° test determination of flame spread rate";

2.2 Meet the requirements of 16CFR 1610-2008 "Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles";

3. Main performance parameters:

3.1. test chamber: the internal dimensions are 350mm high, 370mm wide, and 220mm deep. At the top are 12 vent holes with a diameter of 12.7mm. The front is a glass observation window;

3.2. Test frame: It can support and fix the test frame, make it tilt at an angle of 45°, and adjust its relative position to the front of the flame according to the different thickness of the sample;

3.3 Sample clamp: It consists of two U-shaped steel plates with a thickness of 2.0mm, and the inner frame size is 152mm*38mm. The sample is fixed in the middle of the two plates, and the two sides are clamped with clamps;

3.4 Burner: Consists of 41/No.2 syringe needle;

3.5 Fuel gas: butane (chemically pure)

3.6 Marking thread: Made of white cotton mercerized sewing thread (11.7tex*3)

3.7 Hammer: weight 30kg;

3.8 Timer: 0~99.99s/m automatic timing;

3.9 Equipped with bristle device;

3.10 Flowmeter: Rotameter;

3.11 Needle valve: adjust the height of the flame;

3.12 Flame measurement scale: measure the flame height of the burner, the accuracy is 1mm; the flame height is 16mm

3.13 Igniter: automatic ignition for high pressure.
